What is THCa?

THCa, or tetrahydrocannabinolic acid, is a non-intoxicating cannabinoid found in raw cannabis plants. It is the precursor to THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) and converts to THC through decarboxylation, a process that occurs when cannabis is heated or aged. THCa is known for its potential therapeutic properties.

What is THCp?

THCP, or tetrahydrocannabiphorol, is a newly discovered cannabinoid found in cannabis. It is structurally similar to THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) but has a longer carbon chain, making it potentially more potent. THCP’s effects and properties are still being studied, but it is believed to have a stronger affinity for cannabinoid receptors in the body. The research found that THCP binds to CB1 receptors up to 33 times more often than traditional THC, which means THCP is potentially up to 33x as potent as THC.

What is HHC?

HHC, or hexahydrocannabinol, is another cannabinoid found in cannabis. It is structurally similar to THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), but with a slight difference in its chemical structure. HHC is believed to have psychoactive effects similar to THC but with potentially stronger potency. However, research on HHC is limited, and its properties and effects are not yet fully understood.

What is Delta-10?

Delta-10 is a cannabinoid found in trace amounts in the cannabis plant. Like regular THC -delta-9- it can get you high, but it is less potent than delta-9. This makes it similar to delta-8, another cannabinoid that is less potent than regular THC. Delta-10 can get you high, although it is much less potent than regular delta-9 THC. Anecdotally, delta-10 is commonly reported to provide energizing effects, whereas delta-8 is reported to be more sedating.
