Blue Ridge Extractions offers farmers analytical laboratory hemp testing of your crop in any stage. Know what you have in the ground before the State comes around!

Our cannabis analyzer applies liquid chromatography and spectroscopy analytical techniques. We use these technologies because most regulatory laboratories use them to analyze cannabinoid content.

As a result, you will receive an accurate analytical report of your hemp crops components. Blue Ridge Extractions offers our laboratory hemp testing at an affordable price.

Sample Size:

A sample size must be 3-5 grams per test of flower or trim per strain.

Sample Preparation:

  • You must submit your samples for each test in separate containers.
  • If you are only looking to ensure you’ll pass state inspection, we recommend you cut the sample off of the top cola.  It is normal to cut the cola’s from 3-4 different plants of the same strain.
  • IF sending in hemp/biomass, it should be properly dried and milled to ensure a homogenous representation of your sample. Because this is important if you are looking for the most accurate reading.
  • If you do not have the means to homogenize, just let us know and when we receive the sample we will prepare it before testing.

Sample Labeling:

Clearly label all samples with the following information:

1- Company name

2- Sample name

3- Strain ID

4- Batch ID (optional)

Supporting Documentation:

It is best you send any supporting documentation that you may have with your samples. In the event that your package is selected for inspection, you need a copy of your state growing license. This in turn will expedite the release of your package if it is indeed confiscated. Although it is highly unlikely this will happen.

Packaging:

It is important to ensure sample integrity while in transit to avoid any shipping or testing delays. Because of this, we recommend that you package your samples in a dual container system.

We find it best to place your flower in a paper bag and then seal that bag into a ziplock bag.
If you choose to drop off a sample, it is ok for you to bring it in fresh/wet. Please allow an extra three days of drying time to receive your analysis. Because the lower the moisture content the more accurate the test results will be!

Payment:

We accept checks or credit cards. If you are paying with a credit card, check the box for “Credit Card” and our accountant will call the number listed for the Billing Contact.  All cash payments will only be accepted if dropping off your sample in person.

Note: Payment must be received prior to the release of final project report
