A sample size must be 3-5 grams per test of flower or trim per strain.
Samples for each test must be submitted in separate containers.
If you are only looking to ensure you’ll pass state inspection, we recommend you cut the sample off of the top cola. It is normal to cut the cola’s from 3-4 different plants of the same strain.
IF sending in hemp/biomass should be properly dried and milled to ensure a homogenous representation of your sample this is important if your looking the most accurate reading.
If you do not have the means to homogenize, have no fear, just let us know and when we receive the sample we will prepare it before testing.
Samples should be clearly labeled with the following information:
1- Company name
2- Sample name
3- Strain ID
4- Batch ID (optional)
It is best to send any supporting documentation that you may have with your samples. In the event that your package is selected for inspection, having a copy of your state growing license will expedite the release of your package if it is indeed confiscated, though highly unlikely this will happen.
Ensuring sample integrity while in transit will be important to avoid any shipping or testing delays. We recommend packaging your samples in a dual container system.
We find it best to place your flower in a paper bag and then seal that bag into a ziplock bag If dropping off a sample it is ok to bring it in fresh/wet, please allow an extra three days of drying time to receive you analysis, the lower the moisture content the more accurate the test results will be!
