FAQ

CBD is short for cannabidiol, a naturally occurring phytocannabinoid found in hemp, and is usually present in the highest concentration. However, it is just one of over a hundred of different cannabinoids and phytochemicals found in the hemp plant. CBD is a non-intoxicating component. It is non-psychoactive, so it does Not cause a “high”, unlike THC.

These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

Many users report that HHC is at least 5x stronger than Delta-8 and gives a euphoric type of high along with a gradual increase in mood, and activity stimulation, all while still having the ability to remain in control. It can however change your cognition and headspace, so as with all intoxicating products we recommend not operating heavy machinery while using.

No, CBD is not psychoactive, unlike THC. Our Tinctures are tested for THC levels below 0.3%, there is no intoxicating or mind-altering (high) effect from taking our full spectrum or CBD isolate tinctures.

It depends, if you are using our CBD isolate products, no, they are THC free. Taking a full spectrum products though could cause you to fail a drug test. Our full-spectrum and delta 8 THC products contain a complete range of hemp extract, including trace amounts of delta-9 THC (below 0.3%), most drug tests scan for the presence of THC.

Every product has a QR code that will take you straight to the COA when you scan it, and in each product page you will find a link to the COA in the description.  You can also view all of our product COA’s by clicking here

CBD topicals are CBD-infused products that are applied directly to the skin. Some examples of CBD topicals are salves, balms, and creams.

After the initial extraction and winterization process, we send our “crude” oil (the building block of all CBD products) to a third-party lab to guarantee it is free of contaminants like heavy metals, bacteria, microbial life, mycotoxins and pesticides.  The lab also runs a full cannabinoid profile and a residual solvents test. Those same tests are preformed on all our Delta 8 THC oils as well. Once we get the all clear from the labs (we use different labs for testing to assure accuracy) we then formulate our recipes in small batches of 500.  After that, we send a batch sample of that specific retail product one more time to a third- party lab for another cannabinoid profile test (COA) to ensure the CBD and other cannabinoids content is exactly what is stated on the label and within the legal limits of THC content to be sold in all 50 states.

Cannabinoids are chemicals found in the cannabis plant.  There are at least 113 different cannabinoids, the most notable cannabinoid is the phytocannabinoid tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the psychoactive compound in cannabis; and Cannabidiol (CBD), one of the most abundant cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant that has been well studied for its effect on human health.

Our bodies are made up of an endocannabinoid system (ECS) that uses naturally-occurring endocannabinoids to maintain health and homeostasis. As a phytocannabinoid, CBD works to interact with the body’s endocannabinoid system and promote a sense of balance and wellness.

The hemp plant contains over 113 compounds that benefits us differently, such as: CBD, CBD-A, CBN, CBG-A, THC, THC-A, Terpenes and many others.

THC is short for Tetrahydrocannabinol, a crystalline compound that is the main active ingredient of cannabis. THC is the psychoactive, it is the only cannabinoid that give sensation of intoxicating affects (getting high) that’s often associated with marijuana.

All BRE’s products are made from USA-grown hemp, which is a legal regulated crop under the U.S. Farm Bill, and all our Hemp-derived CBD products (with less than 0.3 percent THC) are legal in all 50 states.

You can mix your CBD isolate powder with your favorite foods or drinks or ingest it orally. It can also be added to your personal care and beauty products such as lotions and creams.

Full spectrum oil is CBD oil in its most raw form, “crude” oil.  It contains fats, waxes, lipids, terpenes, and a range of other cannabinoids such as CBG, CBC, CBN, and THC.  Isolate is the purest form of Cannabidiol, it is a highly refined crystalline powder, typically 99.9% CBD with no other plant compounds.

Research has suggested that full-spectrum CBD tinctures may offer advantages over Isolate CBD tinctures.   This is because of a phenomenon known as the “entourage effect” – the appearance that CBD works better in the presence of other naturally-occurring hemp compounds, rather than by itself (regardless of potency).

CBD Distillate is a highly refined cannabis extract.  Utilizing a short path system is the most common way to refine crude oil into a higher concentrated from of CBD distillate (typically 70-80%).  During refinement process, fats, waxes, lipids, terpenes, and other cannabinoids are typically removed and what you have left is a very high in purity, golden colored CBD concentrate.

CBD “crude” Oil is the material we get from the initial extraction process, it is also referred to as RIck Simpson Oil, or RSO for short.  Crude oil is essentially the building block of all CBD products, and can be used just the way it is to create full spectrum products or further refined in many other ways to create distillate and isolate CBD products.

There is a QR code printed on every label for you scanning convience, BRE produces and labels all of our products in small batches of 500.  Every batch is 3rd party tested and the Certificate of Analysis (COA) is then imbedded unto a QR code and placed on each label of that specific batch.  We are committed to quality and transparency and this was a great way to show you both!

For the best shelf life, keep your CBD product in a cool, dry area and out of direct sunlight. Doing so will help to preserve the hemp extract for as long as possible. If stored properly, CBD oil can have a shelf life of one year.

Delta-8-THC is found in the cannabis plant. Like other cannabinoids, it interacts with the body’s endocannabinoid system – specifically the CB1 receptor of the nervous system – to produce a psychotropic effect. Delta-8-THC interacts with the nervous system similarly to Delta-9-THC to produce feelings of euphoria and uplifted mood.

Our Delta-8 THC is an isomer of CBD, which is a process we use in our lab to convert natural CBD Isolate into a concentrated form of Delta-8 THC oil.  While many people want to call these cannabinoids “synthetics” that’s not an appropriate name for them. “Conversions” or “derivatives” is the more appropriate name, as not only do these compounds exist naturally, but many cannabinoids found in industrial hemp plants will change into each other naturally with the application of heat, time, and light.
